Join us at 'Imiloa for a hands-on lauhala weaving workshop with cultural practitioner Ka'ohu Seto. In this intimate session, participants will learn the basics of working with lauhala (pandanus leaves)—from preparation to weaving techniques—while gaining insight into the cultural significance of lauhala in Hawaiian daily life and artistry. Whether you are new to weaving or looking to deepen your connection to this traditional practice, this workshop offers a space to engage with 'ike kupuna (ancestral knowledge) through guided, thoughtful instruction. Space is limited and participants will be provided with all necessary weaving materials with instruction on-site.
